Flager County is located on the northeast coast. Latest population data puts the population right around 50,000. The major law enforcement for Flagler County is the Flager’s County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office are assisted by the two local police departments which are Bunnell Police Department and Flagler Beach Police Department. These departments are rather small and the majority of arrests and citations issued come from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office. The Florida Highway Patrol is also very active in Flager County and works along side all the law enforcement departments. As a collective unit, the law enforcement of Flager County generally produce 10,000 citations issued on an annual basis.
