Hendry County is located in central south west Florida area. The county is located east of Fort Meyers. Hendry County has seen a fair amount of growth in the recent years and the current population of the county is said to be around 39,000. The county has 2 major police departments, but the primary law enforcement of the county is the responsibility of the Hendry County Sheriff’s office. The 2 police departments are Clewiston Police Department and the La Belle Police Department.
